Children’s Halloween Party: More Quick Halloween Treats
Now a children’s Halloween party wouldn’t be the scream of the town if it didn’t have incredible quick Halloween treats and activities now would it?! Check out what a couple local bloggers and I created for our kids! It was a huge group effort and everyone had such wonderful ideas! From simple halloween balloons to DIY banners, the decor was on point! Or for this post should I say vampire points! lol
Whipped Ghost cupcakes were devilishly good, and this refreshing Orangecicle Drink was well…. refreshing! This is definitely a DIY children’s Halloween party anyone can recreate. And it won’t break the budget!
To keep all the little monsters in good spirits, I also put together this simple halloween craft- DIY Play Dough Monster Mats. With four free printables and Hue Dough, (the best children’s sensory dough around) you really can’t go wrong. This was also part of October’s #CreativeReadoftheMonth! Make sure you read “Monster Party” for some extra fun.
#YesChefFavorites | Cast Iron Pizza Stone + ROSTI Mixing Bowls
Now you didn’t think I’d leave you without telling you all about these amazing kitchen gadgets that made this quick Halloween treat happen now did you?!
I didn’t think so! Which is one of the many reasons why I’m still loving my #YesChefFavorites segment, where I get to divulge in my favorite kitchen finds from Yes Chef, a specialty kitchen store in downtown Abbotsford.
How often do you cook on cast iron? It really is the king of pans in my opinion. It’s got great heat distribution + holds flavour so well. Just remember when you are cleaning you prized cast iron to never soak it in water! You want those beautiful seasonings to stay put.
This Cast Iron Pizza Stone ended up being a great way to cook the Candy Graveyard Cookie Pizza. It cooked this quick Halloween treat evenly and looked like a beautiful platter when I was ready to serve. I can’t wait to actually cook some pizzas on this! I might just have to do a comforting fall recipe soon.
My other #YesChefFavorites gadget were the awesome ROTI Mixing Bowls I picked up. Available in a few color options and sizes, they really suit any chef and kitchen. I ended up going with the terracotta color, and I LOVE THEM! But the easy pour spout and no slip grip on the bottom probably have my heart the most. Especially when little chefs are involved! So there you have it, two more amazing kitchen gadgets to add to your shopping list and a spooktacular dessert!
